2nd Shift Process Technician
Position Specifics:- Evaluation to Hire 720 Contract Hours
- $25-26/hr DOE
- Work Schedule is 7pm -7:30am / 12 HR shift
Position Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for the start-up, shut down, and troubleshooting of the molding process during normal production runs
- In addition, the Technician must set up injection molding machines and all related equipment to allow the manufacture of a product
- Develop and improve accuracy of the injection molding machines and processes
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Assist with new mold samples, and assist in the creation of full documentation on all processing parameters
- Meets with the Shift Supervisor and other Process Technicians to discuss any and all issues relating to the shop floor
- Train and set up technicians and Material Handlers as assigned to insure that the set-ups being performed are done properly, in a safe manner, as well as a timely manner
- Follow all departmental operational procedures relating to the set-up, operation, and shut down of jobs
- Perform special duties and or projects as assigned
- Operate the machine as needed
- Document any and all process changes per internal procedures
- Analyze, recommend and implement layout and workflow improvements
- Estimate and calculate standard times
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Experience Necessary:
- 5 years of process technician experience
- Familiarity with all aspects of injection molding machines, decoupled molding techniques knowledge of engineering grade resins
- High School diploma or equivalent
